Are you getting “Outlook experienced a serious problem with the Business objects live office xi 3.1 add-in.” after installing business objects live office 12.0 ?

This solution is good and well, but just de-activating Outlook add in doesn`t solve the issue, merely avoiding it. What if you want to run LO on emails/refresh datasets in emails?
Just a thought
I was having the same issue and did not want to simply disable Outlook. I am currently testing the following steps.
- When Office 2007 users check the option “Require add-ins by trusted publisher” from Trust Center->Add-Ins, they need to enable Live Office manually by selecting “Enable all code published by this publisher” from Microsoft Office Security Options.
- Disable Live Office
- Open \BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Live Office 11.7
- Select exe file enable_addin.exe
- Click on exe file
- The dialog box “Live Office Configuration” appears.
- Uncheck all. Now live office is disabled.
- Open any Microsoft Office 2007 Application supported by Live Office
- Click on Office Button
- Select Option (for example Excel Option)
- Select Trust Center/Trust Center Settings
- Select Add-Ins and Check “Require Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher.”
- Close Excel
- Go back to \\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Live Office 11.7
- Select exe file enable_addin.exe
- Click on exe file
- The dialog box “Live Office Configuration” appears.
- Check all
- Reopen any Microsoft Office 2007 Application supported by Live Office.
- New toolbar appears – click on Options
- Select “Enable all code published by this publisher”
- Live Office icon appears
